Participants who have completed this course will be able to assess the scene, assess the injury, and deal effectively with common injuries.

This programme will enable learners to deliver first aid. It will ensure competency in the preparation of First Aid assessments. Delivery of this programme will be in-house. The training program will consist of a variety of lectures, practical demonstrations and student centered learning.

This training is a full day programme, and is open to all learners, specifically those who have a responsibility in health & safety within their work environment. This course is suitable for up to 10 participants. Successful students will receive an Amber Fire First Aid Certificate of Attendance.

All courses are classroom based, they are highly interactive with role-playing and practical exercises to reinforce understanding and learning.

Who should attend this course?

• Employees who need to deliver emergency first aid before the arrival of the Designated Occupational First Aider.

Please note: this course will not meet a company’s First Aider Requirements under the current Health & Safety Legislation, but is an excellent way to increase the level of first aid awareness in the workplace.
